He also holds a MSc in Global Energy Management from University of Colorado Denver.

He has a diverse background in various domestic and international, onshore and offshore projects located in US, Canada, North Sea, South America and the Middle East. Significant experience in coastal California, harsh climates, deep water projects with important exposure to conventional and unconventional upside projects. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering plus a MBA from Dalhousie University in Canada and has also been involved in several industry innovations including dual ESP technology and holds a patent on subsea wellhead technology.

His expert knowledge of the offshore and onshore California regulatory environment and permitting processes at the local, State and Federal level, and the ability to navigate multiagency projects has been critical to achieving growth and success. He attended Rutgers University and has continued learning throughout his career through certificate programs in the areas of executive safety and health management, emergency and business continuity planning and response, and environmental protection.
