Platforms Hogan & Houchin and La Conchita Facility

Beacon West was contracted to monitor and maintain Platforms Hogan and Houchin in preparation for plug and abandonment operations. The two platforms are in the Santa Barbara Channel approximately 3 miles from shore. The onshore oil and gas processing plant that historically handled production from Hogan and Houchin is located in La Conchita, Ventura County. All work on these assets is performed under the supervision of the federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE). Beacon West provides essential maintenance and monitoring services to ensure public safety and environmental protection as the platforms are prepared for well plugging and abandonment activities as well as final decommissioning of the platforms and facilities.
